INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
Downtown Arts Collective is now accepting submissions for an exhibition exploring contemporary photography.
Artists from all over the world are invited to submit their work.
Selected works will be chosen by a jury and announced September 23rd.
30 Selected works will be printed and framed by DAC and exhibited in our gallery space from September 27 - October 24, 2019.
Exhibition Dates: September 27 - October 24, 2019
Opening Reception: Friday, September 27, 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Rules/Guidelines: Downtown Arts Collective will provide free printing, matting and framing for all of our exhibitions. Photographers who are selected into the exhibition by the juror will provide a high resolution JPEG file for our gallery to print.
Information on our framing & printing process: Photographs will be printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper matte using Epson Stylus Pro 7890. We offer 16” x 20” black frames. Our white mats are pre cut for 12” x 18” and 11” x 14” prints.
All exhibition prints will be kept in a flat file after the show for future sale and promotion of the photographer.
File agreement for accepted photographers: Downtown Arts Collective will only print one exhibition print. If there is a sale inquiry, the photographer will be notified before a sale is confirmed, edition information will be discussed with photographer, the photographer will be sent an authentication document to be signed and included with the print to the collector. No sale or printing of files will happen without prior consent and agreement of photographer. All rights remain to the file and print with the photographer, to be used only with their prior consent. Exhibition print will not be sold, but used in our flat file at Downtown Arts Collective only to promote the photographers work.
Downtown Arts Collective keeps a 25% commission on all sales, 75% goes to the photographer.
If artist prefers, works do not have to be offered for sale. Print may be for exhibition and promotion only if elected.
Notification: All photographers will be notified 3-5 days after the deadline about juror selections.

Titles of Included Photos with corresponding file name
Attach up to 5 photos, as instructed below:
File Set Up: Jpeg files, 1024 pixels on the longest side at 72 DPI, 3MB or less each (saved).
Name Files: firstname_lastname1.jpg, firstname_lastname2.jpg, firstname_lastname3.jpg, etc…
Eligibility: This call for submission is open to all artists 18 years of age or older. This is a juried exhibition for artists working in photography.
Copyright: All rights to the photographs remain with the photographer.
Use of images: Any image submitted may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to this show. This use may include publication in any publications, printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist.
