Presidential Candidate Joe Biden Features the Works of Orlando Artists at National Press Event

Former Vice President Joe Biden speaks to Hispanic Heritage Month and the upcoming election today in Kissimmee Florida. In collaboration with Downtown Arts Collective, campaign officials have selected works by Alejandra Tobón and MotherSeth to be displayed alongside Vice President Biden as he highlights campaign efforts and pays homage to the Puerto Rican Community.

The selected works, Oculomotor (Alejandra Toboón), and Pearl Taxi Plate Flowers (MotherSeth) illustrate the importance of contemporary art in parallel to progressive action and set the foundation for a nationwide representation of Orlando artists. 

Downtown Arts Collective is an artist-run space in Downtown Orlando where local creatives experiment with new ideas, challenge one another, and showcase their work alongside artists from abroad. Locally recognized for their engagement with emerging artists and experimental exhibitions, Downtown Arts Collective stands to foster creativity and functions as a resource for artists around the world.
